Cageless Dog Daycare
Dogs Day Inn located near Lincoln Park, Chicago, is a fun, cage-free alternative to traditional kennels. We pride ourselves on our casual and fun run environment that is a bit different from most. We provide social group cageless dog daycare and offer a completely open play environment to our guests. For us, a dog's needs always come first, that means feeling included as part of the pack and given love and attention at all times. Our guests are supervised by dog lovers and provided access to an outside area. We encourage dogs to interact in healthy play as much as they desire, as well as other staff run activities. It is our sincere hope that you and your dog's experience with our staff and other guests at our facility are always positive. We strive to make sure your dog has a wonderful experience with our staff and the other good natured dogs that they will meet.
Dogs Day Inn has two play areas to allow dogs with the same play style to be able to interact with each other and allow us to separate our smaller dog or less active dogs from our larger or more playful ones. Our outdoor space allows our guests to get some fresh air and sunshine daily, and on weather permitting days, they have the opportunity to sunbath, lounge or play on the playground equipment or in our kiddie pools. For those not so pleasant days our guest still have the opportunity to head outside and still have some shelter with our large tent.

How Cageless daycare works At Dogs Day Inn
The paperwork
The first step is to setup your online account with us through the Petexec system. This will require you to enter your personal information, for you to digitally read and sign our Boarding/Daycare Contract, and for your to add your dogs information.
Then we will need for your to upload your dogs vaccinations records, or if you prefer you can have your veterinarian email them to us.
Requirements
All dogs must have/meet the following:
- Create and complete a Petexec account with Dog Day Inn
- Spayed or neutered if your dog is over 6 months of age
- Up to date on vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella)
- Have a negative fecal sample recorded with your veterinarian
- Be healthy, we cannot take any sick dogs
- Friendly and social with other dogs and people. We are a cageless facility with dogs only being crated for feedings.
- All Dogs must have a collar with name tag. We cannot leave on leather or metal collars for the dogs safety.
- Do an trial/evaluation day
- Optional but recommended: Flea and Tick topical treatment - must be done 24-48 hours before coming in for daycare/boarding. NO flea/tick collars during daycare/boarding
Trial Day
The next step is to contact us to schedule a trial/evaluation day. It is required that you drop off your dog at the facility between 6:30 am - 6:45am. These can be scheduled any morning Monday thru Friday. Your dog will need to stay for a minimum of 8 hours. Upon pick-up from the trial day you will be notified how your fur baby did, and if Dogs Day Inn is the right environment for you dog.
